ग़र पिलाना है तो पिलादे हुस्न से अपने
लब में तेरे वोह बात नहीं,

'रूह' लेलिया नाम जो तूने उसका
मेरी अब तुझसे कोई बात नहीं,

दफ़न हम हो लेगें तेरी याद संग ऐ साकी
अब संग तेरे आज से कोई रात नहीं ।

ਤੱਕਦਾ ਨਾ ਰਹੀਂ ਕਿਤੇ,

ਤੱਕ ਤੱਕ ਕੇ ਕਿੰਨ ਤੱਕਨਾ
ਇਹ ਵੀ ਤੱਕਲਈਂ ਕਿਤੇ,

"ਰੂਹ" ਤੱਕ ਤੱਕ ਕੇ ਜੇ ਨਾ ਥੱਕੇਯਾ
